SÜLZLE supports the Allianz für Entwicklung und Klima

15.06.2020

Since a few weeks the SÜLZLE Group is a member of the “Alliance for Development and Climate”. On behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, this widely based societal alliance is voluntarily committed to the implementation of Agenda 2030.

Together with over 650 supporters, it pursues the vision of an “effective alliance of strong, non-state actors who voluntarily assume responsibility for development and climate protection – for present and future generations. At the focus of its efforts are the 17 goals of the Agenda, which call for an end to global poverty and famine, access to high-quality education and clean water, climate protection and a healthy life for all people.

Allianz is relying on the leverage effect of  CO2 compensation projects in developing and emerging countries that can achieve a turnaround in climate protection through renewable energies, job-creating and climate-friendly agriculture as well as forest conservation, while at the same time boosting investment and employment.

SÜLZLE is pleased to be part of this strong alliance of companies, associations, authorities, project developers, compensation providers and civil society and is convinced that this common path is not only successful but indispensable. SÜLZLE also wants to reduce its own CO2 footprint step by step and thus become climate neutral as soon as possible.
